matters. After several years, Adam transitioned a practice more focused on representing employees

Employment discrimination is illegal when it is based upon an employee’s race, religion, age, gender,
disability, religion, or other protected characteristic. It could be that the employee was terminated, not
hired, demoted, not accommodated, harassed, or subjected to a hostile work environment. Whatever
the claim and whatever the circumstances, Adam can tell you whether you have a case and if you do, he
knows how to win it.
Wage and Overtime Claims
If you have done a hard day’s work, you deserve to be paid fairly, promptly, and accurately. Sometimes
employers make honest mistakes and do not understand the law. Sometimes, employers are
intentionally trying to underpay and steal wages from their workers. Adam has helped employers pay
their employees correctly and helped hold employers accountable to their workers.
Employment Contracts and Severance Agreements
When employees are accepting a new position, Adam has helped negotiate and review employment
contracts and non-competition clauses. And when employment ends, some employers offer employees
severance agreements. Sometimes they are negotiated; sometimes they are offered on a take-it-or-leave
it basis. Adam reviews and drafts agreements for employees and employers.
