Probate

Probate

When a loved one passes away, we are ready to assist you and your family in all
matters pertaining to a dignified and timely administration of the personal, legal,
financial, and tax matters associated with the estate.

Probate Administration

Probate is the court-supervised process to administer wills, appoint executors, and to
determine the value and ownership of assets.  Probate courts also provide a forum for
settling legal and financial claims against the estate and between beneficiaries.

Adam regularly guides executors with handling these matters. Being an executor is
hard work, and involves solving problems and doing many tasks—big and small. We’ve
seen the right way to administer estates and many more wrong ways to do it. We’re
confident that we can guide you though even the most complicated probate issues.

Trust Administration

Trusts can be an efficient and private method for directing the disposition and
management of assets. The use of a trust can allow assets to pass to beneficiaries
without probate proceedings.  A trustee serves in a capacity similar to an executor in
probate court.  Adam has both represented trustees and served as an independent
trustee. Trustees to ensure compliance with numerous legal requirements and tax
reporting obligations.
